The Birth of In-Season Multipurpose Cooperative
The idea to form In-Season Multipurpose Cooperative was mooted in 2021 following a careful analysis and consideration of the main pain points and the biggest challenges, which hinder the success of small-scale farmers in Zambia. As a response to market access challenges faced by the largely fragmented small-scale farmers, a group of Zambians based in the diaspora and in Zambia – having a keen interest in economically uplifting farming, came together to form IMC and registered it 2022.
